Episode 65 — Chasing the Eternal Glory That Awaits

Meesa Estuar is the co-founder and Managing Director of Greater Glory Ministry in California.

In this episode, Meesa and I talked about:

  • Greater Glory, the ministry that Meesa co-founded with Dom Almario (follow them here on Instagram)

  • This quote from St. Teresa of Avila: "Remember that you only have one soul. You only have one death to die. You only have one life, which is short and has to be lived by you alone. And there is only one glory, which is eternal. And if you do this, there will be many things in which you care nothing."

  • Ad majorem dei gloriam (AMDG) - "For the greater glory of God", the motto of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) from St. Ignatius of Loyola.

  • This prayer shared with Meesa during her fight with cancer: "Lord wreck me"

  • Meesa makes mention of Matthew 7:24-27, "Hearers and doers"

  • This quote from St. John Bosco: "All for God and His glory in whatever you do, think of the Glory of God as your main goal."

  • Meesa also makes mention of Matthew 7:7: "Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you."

"If we just simplify ourselves and our mission into AMDG, for the glory of God, if we just make that the focal point, there is no measurement, I think, of what is successful or not." — Meesa Estuar

Meet Meesa Estuar

Meesa Estuar is 30 years old from Southern California and a Graduate with her Masters in Theology. She works for St. Paul in Chino Hills and is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of her passion ministry project, Greater Glory. After surviving from a rare cancer at age 23, there was one phrase that kept her stillAd Majorem Dei Gloriam, or 'For the Greater Glory of God.' Since then, it has been Meesa's personal mission for everyone to understand that a Greater Glory always awaits them. As she concludes from her current ministry job of the last 5 years, her intimate discernment and solitude with the whisperings of the Holy Spirit have called her, yet again, to discover the revelation of the Greater Glory of God that awaits her in this next occupational transition of life.

This is a two-part series on the co-founders of Greater Glory! Next week's episode features Dom Almario. Stay tuned!
